I loved loved loved working with Colleen and Rich. Rich is actually the nephew of one of my coworkers but Colleen found me outside of that connection it was just a happy surprise!
We got to work at the beautiful Springfield Manor with this awesome group and a ridiculously awesome vendor team! Colleen and Rich had a friend officiate their wedding which is a trend that I am seeing more and more and absolutely LOVE. It is so much more personal and such an awesome touch to have someone you love officiate the most important day of your life.
The timeline for Colleen and Rich was a little bit tight and there were some hiccups along the way with a lack of staff causing the dinner to take a bit longer than planned (hopefully hiccups that no one other than me noticed!) We ended up having to make some timeline adjustments on the fly because I know that this group wanted to party and I wanted to make sure that they got as much time to party as possible! It all worked out in the end and I think Colleen, Rich and their family and friends had a really great time!
I got to follow up this awesome day actually working a party for her family the following day which was really fun to be able to see the squad the day after rather than just having to say bye that night and only being able to see them again through stalking their instagram accounts and hoping to see some fun life updates!
Their wedding party was awesome and the best man speech was actually one of the best I have ever heard. I made some mental notes to throw some of the things that he said into my own speech when I am a maid of honor one day. You could see how much their family and friends loved Colleen and Rich and all of the love in the room was just contagious and awesome to see!
They had the best team of vendors!
