I am super excited to be writing this blog post about Lance and Brooke for many reasons! The first being that I am super pumped to share these images with you guys their photographer did such an amazing job and these images turned out so beautiful. Also because of the sheer effort that went into creating this amazing day.
Brooke’s wedding was held at her parent’s farm and they did SO MUCH to get it ready for a big event like this. They made sure there were fields cleared and looking beautiful and perfect so that there was room for the ceremony (with absolutely amazing views!) parking, and the reception tent. This base work stuff is the reason venues are so expensive in the wedding industry because there is just so much work involved in making a space perfect for a large group of people like that. Then all of the planning that went into her big day! I did her coordination so the planning was all her for this event. Everything just blended together so smoothly and looked totally amazing! They even made their own giant light up letters which I never would have guessed were homemade!
You could just see how much love Lance and Brooke had working both between them and for them to create this wedding day. Their wedding party was HUGE because they just have too many people who love them!
Brooke and Lance had some really amazing personal touches in their wedding day. Brooke came in on a horse and buggy that belong to her late grandfather and as she rounded the corner to the ceremony space we rang a huge old school bell kind of thing that they have on their property. Lance’s step father officiated the wedding and Brooke’s mom read a poem. They also had pictures of their dog at each table which was so adorable.
Brooke and Lance’s friends were ready to party from the moment the wedding started and didn’t disappoint when the dancing began! It was an incredibly fun party and even went beyond the timeframe that the vendors were there (a perk of using a private property for your venue, the party doesn’t have to stop until you want it to stop!)
Here are some of my favorites from their photo gallery, the awesome vendor team and some nuts and bolts DMV bloggy comments.

My team for this wedding was huge (the biggest I have had at 1 event yet) because we took on the role of coordinator and also was helping with bussing tables/passing horderves and keeping cups and napkins etc cleared throughout the night. Catering staff usually does all of this but they were working with a more local company that didn’t do the whole staff so we filled in as best we could! One of the things I tell my brides is that I like to be able to fill whatever holes are needing to be filled and because my husband works at a private school and coaches basketball we pretty much have unlimited access to young people who are ready and willing to help out wherever they can! So we served as not just the coordination team but catering staff, clean-up crew, and parking crew and its always really fun to work with a big team, so if you are ever in a planning stage and thinking “dang I wish we had someone who could do *blank*” just let me know and I probably do have someone who can do it!! We like to be whatever you need us to be to make your big day run as smoothly as possible!
