Beatrice had her wedding on May 1st to her now husband Mike.
Beatrice is a planner/coordinators dream! She was so organized with her planning that she really just needed someone to help execute her plan day of because she would be busy getting married!
Beatrice had a dual location wedding, the ceremony was at the beautiful St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in downtown Frederick and her reception at Ceresville Mansion (where I got married in 2017!!) also in Frederick, MD.
I loved working this wedding! There are so many reasons why this was really fun for me.
First off, Beatrice and Mike are just fun, I mean how often do you see a Star Wars engraved wedding band or have your bridesmaids and groomsmen fighting over who can take the silliest group photo with the photographer. They’re both really smart and they both have these really deep and awesome friendships! You can tell just from being around them for a few minutes that they balance each other out perfectly.
Listening to their friends and families toast them and talk about them just proved to me everything I was seeing from my other interactions with them. They both are hardworking, they both will drop everything for the ones that they love and they both love being adventurous and having fun.
Speaking of their friends, a lot of their vendors were actually friends of their families (I gotta tell you, Beatrice’s mom, Maria is one of my favorite mother of the bride’s that I have had the pleasure to work with) it is even more of an example of how much positivity surrounds them and their relationships.
One of the moments that stood out most to me was when the bridal party was going to Baker Park after the ceremony. I had the pleasure of walking *thanks for that pace Chris, I ended up lapping my apple watch move goal from working the wedding with our added little one mile run in between there* some of the groomsmen to the area we wanted to take some pictures and these guys were talking about how they’ve basically known Mike for a million years and they’re all really close friends and then Beatrice had friends coming in from all over including from the Netherlands. It was just so awesome to see how Mike and Beatrice had created these long lasting and distance surviving friendships.
Everyone I interacted at this wedding was great and I really enjoyed meeting some new vendors and making those connections and I truly am just so excited that social media is a thing and that I will be able to see what is in store for Beatrice and Mike as they start this new adventure as Husband and Wife.
